A traditional Italian heirloom celebrated for its outstanding flavour. This distinctive zucchini features medium grey-green skin with pale green flecking and pronounced ribs. Large, broad-leafed, semi-vining plants yield about half as much as modern hybrids, but more than make up for it with superior taste and texture—nutty, tender, and delicious both raw and cooked. Plants also produce an abundance of large male blossoms, prized in the kitchen.

Edible Flowers: The blossoms have a mild, delicate squash flavour and are excellent stuffed and fried, or sliced into soups, omelets, salads, and pasta dishes.
